Gathering plant materials . . .

The do's and don't's - you know all of the following but . . . better safe than sorry.

• Check at least 3 references to be sure you have the correct plant before you use it.
• Do not gather plants from areas where chemical fertilizers have been used.
• Do not gather plants from road sides that may be contaminated by motors oils, etc.
• Get permission to gather on property that does not belong to you.
