What a surprise! The spicy mesclun greens survived the winter as did the broccoli. Elliot Coleman's book, Four-Season Harvest: Organic Vegetables from Your Home Garden All Year Long is on the top of the pile of books to read. If Mr. Coleman can grow vegetables on the coast in Maine I should be able to do it here!
